Refund Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Refund eligibility, exceptions and how to contact us about a purchase.
1. Scope and Trial
This policy applies to Polaris software-license purchases made on or after November 4, 2026. Any earlier purchase terms and more favorable mandatory rights remain applicable. Polaris offers a free trial where available so you can evaluate features and compatibility before purchase. A trial does not itself create a payment or recurring subscription. Voluntary PayPal support payments are separate from software-license purchases.
2. Unactivated Licenses: 14 Days
If your purchased license has not been activated, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the original purchase by emailing support. Activation means the first successful unlocking of paid features on a device, including automatic activation following checkout. We will check the purchase and activation records to determine eligibility; receiving a receipt alone does not prove activation.
3. Activated Licenses and Exceptions
After activation, we generally do not offer voluntary refunds for a change of mind, personal preferences, not using the trial, or compatibility changes caused solely by later third-party platform updates. This general rule does not override a purchase commitment, rights concerning a defective or nonconforming product, or any mandatory cancellation or refund right.
We will review refund requests for duplicate or incorrect charges, a license that is not delivered, or a developer-side technical failure that prevents activation or access to purchased features and cannot be resolved through support. Report these issues promptly; the voluntary 14-day unactivated-license window does not replace applicable legal deadlines for such claims.
4. Statutory Rights and Digital Delivery
Installing Polaris, activating a license, or reading this policy does not by itself waive a statutory withdrawal right. Where local law permits that right to end for immediately supplied digital content only after express prior consent and acknowledgment, the required choices must be separately obtained in the purchase flow. If those legal conditions are not met, the relevant statutory right remains even if activation has occurred. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer protections.
5. Requesting a Refund
Email [email protected] with the purchase email, order or receipt reference, purchase date and a short description. For technical issues, include the Polaris version, browser and reproduction steps. Do not send a password, AI session token, full card number or private conversation. We may request proportionate information to verify the purchase, activation status and issue.
6. Processing and License Status
Approved refunds are initiated through the original payment channel where supported. The bank or payment provider determines settlement timing; we cannot guarantee a specific arrival date. The paid entitlement associated with a refunded purchase may be revoked. Refunds do not automatically delete your local conversation caches, downloaded exports or clipboard data. We will confirm the outcome and any effect on your license.
